"Carnkern Titan" has produced many sale toppers in Perth and also sired "Milton Lord Tiffany "- the top priced bull at Simmental Society Premier sale and sold to Bova AI.
“Eureka” was imported from Austria in 1990, where he was purchased out of performance test station. He had exceptional loin and hindquarter muscling. His sire Sarimin was used in Austria as an improver of feet and legs and is one of the easiest calving bulls on record in Austria. Eureka was the 12th (and not the last!) natural calf of his dam - Mucki. Her first 11 calves were born with a calving interval of 366 days. Eureka’s grandam had 10 calves.
Eureka was only used within the Anatrim (and later Celtic) herds, yet he produced a list of Show winners, including:
- Celtic Hunter, National Yearling Champion bull
- Anatrim Bronco, S.E. Club Calf Champion.
- Anatrim Fuschia, S.E. Club Calf Champion
- Anatrim Everest, Reserve National Yearling Champion bull, and S.E. Calf.Champion
Eureka’s best legacy however, was his daughters. They have proved to be very fertile, early maturing, middle sized, and excellent milkers.
“Anatrim Breda” was a very long very well fleshed cow. She only had 2 calves before an untimely death due to Grass Tetany (a problem on the farm at that time).
