Celtic Homemaker

Celtic Homemaker" was only shown twice, both times as a pair and winning on both occasions - National Progeny Pair Championship in Tinahely and the National Livestock Show in Tullamore. Homemaker is three quarters sister to "Celtic Highflyer". First 4 calves arrived with 365 day calving interval, before we engaged in an Embryo program. Nobleman is Homemaker’s 3rd calf, with a calving interval of 365 days. She is due to calve again next January with another 365 day interval. Her first calf, - a bull had BLUP’S of Muscle 144,
EUREKA (SIRE)
Imported from Austria in 1990. He is the 12th natural calf from his mother who consistently yielded over 1000 gallons. Noted for very easy calving. His progeny grew fast, were very well muscled, and his daughters are all tremendous milkers. Eureka’s progeny won many championships, including All-Ireland Yearling bull champion, and 2 South Eastern Club calf champions.

Anatrim Josephine

“Anatrim Josephine” was one of the country’s leading show cows, - herself, RDS Supreme Champion, and 4 of her sons were individual RDS winners. Her most notable progeny were:
- Anatrim Ted, also RDS Champion and later exported to Canada.
- Celtic Highflyer, one of the best young bulls of the breed currently in Ireland, (like Homemaker, by Brinkton Brilliant) a top Tully performer (index 115, 660 kgs at 365 days) and already sire of many Champions:
- Anatrim Kahn, National Calf Champion, 1999
- Anatrim Kylie, National Junior Heifer Champion, 2000
- Anatrim Kitty, National Junior Cow Champion 2002
- Anatrim Lucky, National Intermediate Heifer Champion, 2002
- Anatrim Mark , Champion Kilkenny Bull Sale 2002, and top price of the day.
- Celtic Maggie, 2nd National Junior Heifer Champion, 2004 and winner of 4 Championshps
- Highflyer also sired Tully top performer – Anatrim Macha, index 113.
- Josephine was by the world famous sire – Siegfried, whose progeny dominated the breed for so many years in Ireland.
“Leika”, Josephine’s dam, was imported from Austria in one of the original importations. She was by Saulus, one of the top bulls ever in the breed, and widely used in both Austria and Germany. Another of Leika’s calves, a full brother to Josephine- Anatrim Harry, was 3 times RDS Champion, as well as being a top performance tested bull. Harry had a record weight at the time, of 748 kgs at 400 days. He went on to be senior herd sire in the largest pedigree herd in the country at the time – the Hibernian herd.

"Celtic Nobleman" was National Champion Male Simmental Calf 2002, and was also unbeaten in his class. His full brother “Celtic Rock” followed in his footsteps in 2005 winning the National Yearling Bull title. His full sister “Celtic Rarity” topped the 4 Herds sale in 2005, selling at 14 months old to Wesley Abraham’s herd in Northern Ireland for Euro 8,500
